In Good Conscience was founded by Jerome Clark in 2020 — at the height of the pandemic and period of social unrest. His aim was to create a brand that inherently and sustainably supported historically underserved communities of color. His brand's mission is to create universal personal care products that can be enjoyed by all skin types and tones, through natural ingredients, ingredient transparency, and sustainable practices.
